A WINYATES man was banned from driving for a year and fined a total of £250 after he failed to stop after an accident and was found to be over the drink-drive limit.

Kenneth Daly, 50, of Kinnersley Close, had 94 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood after driving his Rover 620 last October.

The legal limit is 80 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Daly also pleaded guilty to failing to stop following a traffic accident on the Warwick Highway on the same day.

He was referred to a drink-drive rehabilitation course.

Daly was also ordered to pay £50 costs.
