CRIME is being cracked in Studley thanks to the village's new CCTV system, according to council officials.
Research showed in one year, criminal damage had dropped by 52.9 per cent and non-residential burglary had fallen by 47.1 per cent.
The improved crime figures have prompted Stratford Council and Studley Parish Council to install another CCTV camera near Pool Lane and Crooks Lane.
It will provide 24-hour surveillance of the recreation ground and new sports facilities being built and will be linked up to a monitoring centre in Stratford.
