YOUNG Barnt Green sailor Kelsey Suggitt won the chance to ask Laser Class gold medal winner Ben Ainslie a question last Saturday at the RYA Sailboat and Windsurf Show.
Along with other sailors from Barnt Green Sailing Club, Kelsey travelled to London to attend a masterclass held by medal winners Shirley Robertson and Ian Percy.
Club commodore John Preston said: "The chance to meet and talk with our Olympic medal winners gives tremendous encouragement to our young talented sailors.
"Sailing is a fantastic sport which at long last is beginning to achieve the recognition as a sport for all."
The foot and mouth problem has unfortunately delayed the opening of the club's sailing season but hopefully it will reopen again soon.
