I AM surprised and disappointed that the Evening News would print such an offensive and spiteful letter as that written by Tim Pinney (You Say, March 7).
By all means let's put forward our different and varied views on the hunting debate, but to personalise the issue is unnecessary and pathetic.
Mr Pinney writes a letter of five paragraphs attacking Ms Knittel's views without putting forward one fact to do with hunting.
To make assumptions about Ms Knittel's opinions, and to attack her line of work, seems a sad way of building a case to defend hunting.
