I READ A Reece's letter (You Say, March 5) with interest. It's sad this individual does not read all I have said through your letters page about public transport, being a regular train user that I am.
Stations are being refurbished and passenger comforts are now looked after very meticulously. What a difference from the days of public ownership.
Instead of carping, A Reece ought to support the vast amounts of money being invested in the railways thanks to privatisation.
