Most of you who entered the competition to win a couple of books about New Labour got the answer wrong.
I asked. When did Tony Blair became leader of the Labour Party, and offered the answers 1992, 1994 and 1997.
The majority of you who entered believed Mr Blair had assumed the leadership in 1997.
But this was when he became Prime Minister.
The correct answer was 1994, as that was the year Mr Blair took over the reins following the death of John Smith.
