HELPING children find their voice is a new initiative running in a Spa school.
St Peter's First School, off The Holloway, is one of three schools in the Worcester diocese taking part in the Voice for Life scheme.
The project, supported by the diocese and the Royal School of Church Music, offers a new training scheme for choirs and choral groups.
Teachers are provided with a framework for training music and singing.
A diocese spokeswoman said: "There is recognition that church choirs are struggling to recruit children.
"Therefore, any music training sch-eme run by the church has to start where the children are -- in schools."
