BUDDING actors and actresses from a village school near Droitwich Spa dazzled parents with their antics on stage.

Youngsters from Tibb-erton First School, in Plough Road, hosted a fantasy musical called The King's Magic Cloaks.

All 62 children took part in two performances for family and friends last Thursday and Friday, March 8 and 9.

The show featured a king who was given two magic cloaks by workers who fitted double glazing in his draughty castle.

The story follows how the cloaks affect his mood and kingdom.

Headteacher Heather Gratland said: "We rehearsed for two weeks and the children gave an excellence performance.

"Taking to the stage is an excellent way for them to build confidence."
