LEAFLETS could be one way Lido campaigners can gather further support for their plans to reopen the town's unique pool.
Last night, the town's Liberal Dem-ocrats, who have led a campaign to save the Lido Pool, were due to consider the future plans of the Droitwich Lido Act-ion Group.
They need volunteers with expertise in swimming pool construction and management and people who know how to set up a registered charity and make lottery applications.
The party will consider raising the action groups profile by handing out leaflets.
David Parkinson, of Burrish Street, is co-ordinating the new, non-political, action group.
He said: "Although we will discuss the group at our party meeting it will be a non-political organisation.
"Once we have more members we can break away and become independent."
The action group would like to run the pool as a charitable trust, challenging a private developer currently in talks with Wychavon District Council.
The unique site will not open this summer because community leaders claim it is unwise to spend £100,000 on repairs while negotiations continue.
