FOX & Goose had to come back from behind twice due to two mix-ups between their defence and goalkeeper.
However, a third purely defensive mix-up saw the Plumbers take the game.
Although the home side tried to keep up the pressure on the visitors late in the second half, with Andy Docherty hitting the right-hand post and having an effort cleared off the line, the third goal just didn't come.
Better communication between the Fox's defenders and goalkeeper would probably have earned them a point, if not three.
Goalscorers were Tom Harris and Kenny Owens for Fox and J Towers, S Finlay, L Butler for Plumbers Arms.
Manager, Dave Storey said: "It was a vast improvement from last week, butconsidering we had 70 per cent of the play, we did not take advantage of the space we created.
"There was a complete lack of understanding in the back four."
