A BROMSGROVE business has moved to Redditch, citing a lack of affordable medium to large industrial space in Bromsgrove as one of its reasons.

Let by Redditch chartered surveyor John Truslove on behalf of a private pension fund, 20-20 Direct Mail Ltd has taken 14,100 sq ft at 49 Heming Road, Redditch.

The company previously occupied 3,810 sq ft at Silver Birches Business Park in Bromsgrove.

Managing director Jim McDonald said the move had been forced on them by the growing business.

The company provides IT and data processing services, personalisation, finishing and mailing services to a wide portfolio of users. Typical solutions offered include statement runs, invoicing, credit control letters, direct mail, customer relationship management and fundraising.

Clients include bluechip companies, government departments and leading charities.

Established six years ago, the company now employs 15 full-time staff and 10 part-time.

Mr McDonald said: "Moving from Bromsgrove to Redditch was not too far to go and our existing staff have remained loyal to us.

"There is a very limited selection of medium to large industrial premises in the Bromsgrove area so the move was really forced on us, although we had wishes to move for some time.

"In addition, Redditch's overall costs are lower, the town provides a larger catchment area for staff and we have plans to employ more staff as the business continues to grow."
