REDDITCH council has stopped collecting rubbish in some parts of the town after the foot and mouth outbreak.
There will be no bins service in part of Astwood Lane and Feckenham, and other rural areas may be affected.
Road closures by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food have meant suspended collection.
Redditch Council's area manager for environmental services Guy Revans said: "In relation to the national situation with the outbreak of foot and mouth, we will not be able to collect refuse in certain areas of the borough.
"We are asking residents in the areas concerned to keep and store refuse safely until we can resume a service. We are monitoring the situation day by day."
