COULD this Labour-run council please explain to us, the people who elect them, why it is that the elderly people who live in Redditch are always the ones who suffer when council tax goes up?
We were given a rise in our pensions starting in April, yet this council puts up rent by £2.50 and council tax by £3.
We who pay full rent and council tax are always the ones to suffer. We always seem to lose our little pay rise.
It's al right for our councillors, who get over £5,000 expenses every year for attending meetings. It bet they don't scrimp and save and go hungry.
I for one will never vote Labour again.
