TEN years ago, your newspaper very kindly published a letter from me encouraging readers who had experienced noise problems to contact a campaign called "The Right to Peace and Quiet Campaign."

The campaign was supported by comedian Spike Milligan, who still supports the anti-noise movement. The Right to Peace and Quiet Campaign was replaced by Noise Network in 1996.

I now require your help again to assess what has happened over the last 10 years. Noise Network has produced a simple questionnaire that sufferers or anyone concerned about noise, can complete anonymously to help with our research, with the intention of influencing future policy for the control of noise in the UK.

All your readers need to do is send an SAE to the following address. I will sent them details and updated information about noise.

The address they need to write to is PO Box 327, Chatham, Kent ME5 8AW.
