A SHOCK result at St George's Sports in the quarter-finals of the Katherine Rayer Cup saw the Division One leaders beat their Premier Division opponents Archdales 3-1.

Ben Schiffmann and Paul Hughes gave the Saints a 2-1 interval lead before man of the match Danny Hilditch clinched victory with a scorching 45-yard drive.

Also through to the semi-finals are Warndon Juniors. Simon Hughes and Scott Pinches were on target in their 2-1 win against Nelson and Kempsey who beat Herefordshire House 2-0.

Pershore Manor swept aside Spetchley Harriers 10-1 with Dave Harvey (3) and Mark Badger (2) their main scorers.
