NICK Baxter's double try burst saw Worcester Warriors seal a 29-19 win at Coventry last night.

The winger, who has seen Spen-cer Bromley take his first-team slot at Sixways after a superb hat-trick at Bedford, did his best to remind the Worcester coaches of his quality.

Centre Chris Wilkes and flanker Cameron Mather also got in on the try-scoring act while fly-half Jon Higgins kicked three conversions and a penalty.

However, Worcester's director of coaching Adrian Skeggs was far from happy with the display at Coundon Road.

He said: "We made too many errors and didn't play to our normal high standards. We missed Tony Yapp's control at fly half and we didn't see the normal style of play from the Warriors.

"Coventry were tough and committed, but sadly the referee was way out of his league and never gained control of the game. Hence it was a stop-start performance and not much of a spectacle for the supporters."
