SINCE the present government, under the Trojan Horse guise of "New Labour", stormed in to power in 1997, has anyone noticed any real difference between this administration and the previous one?
No, we have in reality had 22 years of Conservative government. I spent a great deal of time prior to the '97 election in promoting what I thought would be a government with some Labour ideals but I have been bitterly disappointed.
What have we seen? A new private hospital, run-down medical and social services, more crime, a 75p increase in the State pension.
What point would there be in voting at all in the next election? It seems that there might be some point in voting Liberal-Democrat.
