IT looks as if Tony Blair will, at some time in the future "when the time is right" brainwash our country into accepting the euro.
What pensioners would like to know is, will they still be the paupers of the European community or will the government make some effort to reduce the disparity between our pathetic pensions compared to our well- paid opposites in the rest of Europe?
Having read of my increase in pension I also read that MPs are raking in more than £900 a week with an increase pending.
If they were paid on achievement a lot would certainly be below a pensioner's income.
