A WORCESTER man has been questioned amid allegations an ambulance crew assaulted him.
Police quizzed the man, who has not been named, following an incident at Nightingale House in Stanley Road.
The man alleged he was clubbed with a torch after he began filming with a video camera at the hostel.
The two ambulance workers have denied the claims and said they were attacked after responding to a 999 call.
Vicki Davies, a spokeswoman for Worcester police, said no charges had been brought and the matter was still under investigation.
The manager of Worcester Ambulance Station, Peter Crocker, declined to say whether the two men - taken off duty after the allegations of assault were made last month - had been allowed back to work.
"The matter is sub-judice until the police have finished their inquiries," he said.
"Until then we can't continue our internal investigation either."
