POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an accident in Moreton High Street on Monday afternoon in which a motorist failed to stop.
They want to speak to the driver of a white Peugeot 205, which collided with the front wing of a purple Volvo as it turned right off the High Street.
Police said the Peugeot overtook a queue of cars, which had built up behind the Volvo as it waited to turn.
Stow Police's Dave Hemming said the woman driver of the Volvo was not injured in the accident, but police were still keen to trace the driver of the Peugeot, which might have traces of purple paint on it.
