AFTER weathering the storming opening from Tigers in this WFA U16 County Cup tie Town started to play some good counter attacking football with Dale Humphreys and Michael Cole in fine form and were unlucky not to take the lead when a header from Hooper was cleared off the line.

Then on 20 minutes Andy Shaw at the back put in a fine looking tackle only to find himself being penalised and booked. Graeme Pardoe for Tigers made no mistake with the penalty.

Five minutes into the second half it was 2-0 when Pardoe scored with an unstoppable drive from 15 yards out after Town failed to clear a corner.

After that it was send to end cup tie excitement but there were no more goals.
