NORWICH Union Sports: Hall are bringing children together from all over the West Midlands Region tomorrow to participate in a day of fun team athletics competition at Hereford Leisure Centre, from 12.30pm.

Teams from Avon, Birmingham, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire will take part in both track and field disciplines to find the best in the West Midlands.

Norwich Union Sports:Hall reaches communities in all corners of the UK, helping today's kids become tomorrow's athletes.

A classic example of the scheme's success is Mark Lewis-Francis. He won the title of Sports:Hall champion in 1998 and last year became the world's fastest junior and is now challenging the top sprinters.

Each county in the UK is invited to enter teams falling within two age groups, under 13 and under 15.

Winners from North West, North East, South, South West, South East, West Midlands, East Midlands and Anglia events will join winners from Scotland, Ireland and Wales for the UK finals at the NIA, Birmingham on Saturday 21 April 2001.
