'Led by the nose indeed!'

I went to the meeting and was not "led by the nose" by anybody, and I suggest all those who also attended did so of their own free will and with a determination to put an end to a greatly out of touch Parish 'Town' Council.

It is sad that only three Councillors were present at the meeting, as it was

an open public meeting and I didn't wait for an invitation!

I, for one, went with an open mind to hear what Adrian Ward and colleagues had to say, which I found informative, as were points made from the floor.

I would like to now hear what the town councillors have to say. Why aren't

they calling a similar meeting for us to hear their views instead of distributing futile hints of 'legal action' against those who are prepared to stand up and be counted.

Full marks to Roger Hall-Jones who attended the meeting and has offered to resign in order to seek a fresh mandate. Perhaps he could lead Coun Pilcher 'by the nose', to do the same.
