KIDDERMINSTER Harriers will be aiming to turn a 'horror show' against Blackpool earlier this season into a star performance when they travel to Bloomfield Road for a tough Nationwide League Division Three clash tomorrow (3.0).

When the Seasiders visited Aggborough in late September they gave Harriers an embarrassing 4-1 hammering in front of the live television cameras.

It was a display Kiddermin-ster boss Jan Molby described at the time as a "horror show" against a side managed by his former Liver-pool team-mate Steve McMahon.

Molby said: "We talk about last Sunday's match against Cardiff when maybe we could have pinched a draw, but against Blackpool we could have no complaints.

"They gave us the run around on the night. They were exceptional and it came together for them. They are the best team we have played this season, so it will be a very difficult game for us.

"When they came to us they were second from bottom, but they've had a fantastic run and are now in a play-off place.

"It would be nice to just get a little bit of revenge, but we are under no illusions. A couple of weeks ago they played at home to Cardiff and beat them, that's how good they are.

"I know they have had a couple of defeats recently at Brighton and Chesterfield, but I guess most teams go there and lose.

"They are obviously entering a very important period of the season. They need to keep winning to stay in the play-off places, but we want to keep winning as well just in case anything should happen in the league.

"But we also want to make sure to everybody that we are still improving and whatever happens this season we'll be ready for next season."

Molby will again be without striker Ian Foster and defender Scott Stamps who both have hamstring injuries.

Midfielder Adie Smith is also ruled out because of a groin strain sustained against Cardiff last Sunday.

He was forced to be replaced at half-time by Andy Ducros who is likely to re-appear in the starting line-up tomorrow.

Front-runner Stewart Hadley has also been hampered this week by an Achilles tendon problem.

Molby believes his former Anfield midfield partner McMahon has done an excellent job since taking over at Bloomfield Road.

He said: "I think 'Macca' came in at Blackpool at a difficult time, but he has started to turn it around.

"You learn as a manager all the time and when you lose you first job it's natural to change one or two things when you get another crack at management."
