BRITISH LEGION WOMEN'S SECTION: Held their February meeting in the Betteridge Room. After the business Gerald Heath gave a most interesting talk accompanied with slides entitled 'Evesham Past and Present'. Gerald was thanked by Mrs Pratt. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs Bright, Mrs Gregg and Mrs Lampitt. Mrs Gregg and Mrs Lampitt kindly stood in. Monthly prize was won by Mrs Pinchin. Next meeting on March 7.
