RAILWAY TALK: At the next meeting of the Railway Club, the guest speaker will be Mike Clemens, who will be bringing along some vintage cine film from the 50s and 60s. The meeting will be held in the Methodist Church Hall, from 7.30pm next Tuesday.

COFFEE FOR CATS: The West Oxfordshire branch of the Cats Protection will be holding a coffee morning at Merriscourt Farm, Sarsden on Saturday. PLANT TALK: On March 14 you will be able to listen to Bob Heres of the Royal Horticultural Society, when he gives an illustrated talk on 'Producing Your Own Plants'. The meeting is being held in Enstone Parish Hall, starting at 7.30pm. Entrance is £1.

HISTORY TRIP: The museum are organising a coach trip to Hampshire's Living Museum at Milestones on March 31. You are invited to take a trip down memory lane and wonder at the 20,000 objects on display. Tickets cost £12 and leave the town centre at 9.30am, returning from Basingstoke at 4pm. ART ON DISPLAY: Three artists will have their work on display during March at the Theatre Gallery. Shirley Ellis has a series of drawings inspired by patterns and textures found in nature, Sarah O'Neill makes decorative hand-built vessels, tile panels and mirrors. John Somerscales paints water-colour landscapes, inspired by the architecture and landscape. The exhibition opens runs until March 18. The Gallery is open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 1pm, admission free.
