SENDING up Shakespeare is the object of a world-renowned show coming to The Theatre in Chipping Norton.
The Shakespeare Revue is a collection of songs and comic sketches by contributors as varied as Cole Porter, Maureen Lipman, Victoria Wood and Monty Python.
The five-strong cast is made up of West End stalwarts and ex-RSC actors and the evening promises to knock some of the dust out of those old Shakespeare textbooks.
The Shakespeare Revue will be raising the roof of The Theatre on March 10 at 6 and 8.30pm. Tickets are available from the box office on 01608 642350 and cost £9.50 or £8 for concessions.
