THERE will be something for everyone when the Worcestershire Theatre Festival 2001 starts next Wednesday.

The festival will be held at the Norbury Theatre, Droitwich, and runs until March 10.

Different one act plays from local theatre companies will be performed every night. The opening plays will be Ernies Incredible Illucinations and The Reading Group. There will also be a performance by the singer Ellie McDermott.

On March 8, the featured plays will be The Ways of Weardale Wood, Outside Edge and Too Long an Autumn, while March 9 heralds performances of Round and Round The Gooseberry Bush, La Musica and This Desirable Cottage.

The final night of the festival is March 10 when the plays will be Pandora's Box and Last Tango in Stourbridge. These will be followed by a trophy presentation.
