AN exciting line-up of wedding day services helped attract more than 600 visitors to a show to remember.

The Spring Bridal Fair, organised by the Shuttle/ Times & News, brought together a host of suppliers ranging from balloons to bridalwear and cakes to confetti.

The event, held at the Jarvis Heath Hotel, Bewdley, attracted nearly 200 brides who brought along mums, dads, friends and fiances.

Two fast moving fashion shows were compered by Brian Davies of Upfront Entertainment which also supplies the music for the shows.

Debbie Griffiths, deputy advertising manager of the Shuttle/Times & News, said: "It was one of the best events we have held and we were delighted with the response.

"The catwalk show gets better every year and this year Anette Rodal Rouse, mobile bridal specialist, excelled herself with the choreography of an exciting and fast-moving event.

"There were fashions to suit the most discerning of bridal parties, including gowns, menswear and fashions for the mother of the bride.

"As well as the traditional white gowns, pastel and metallic shades are proving to be popular as well.

"Stunning creations were provided by the Lace Mill and Silks & Satins."

A VIP night, including dinner, bed and breakfast at the Jarvis Heath Hotel, was won in a free prize draw by Katie Lynes of Hereford.

The next bridal fair will be held in the autumn.
