WORCESTER Norton Ladies first team have opened up a three point gap at the top of Midland Hockey League Division 'A' following their recent victory over Charnwood.

With third-placed Matlock 10 points adrift and with five games to go in the run-in for the two promotion places for the Premier Division, Worcester are determined to keep on track on Saturday when they visit fourth placed Belper.

When the teams met earlier in the season Worcester recorded a 3-0 victory at home but are well aware that Belpher's unfamiliar water-based pitch may well cause problems.

With no injuries or unavailability Worcester choose from a full squad.

Squad: Emily Price, Jane Game, Rachel Billingham, Pam Gilmore, Amanda Smith, Rachel Creese, Kate Fletcher, Elaine Shepperd, Becky Handy, Julie Harwood, Jo Walker, Kate Draper, Becky Adams.

After a week's break the 2nd team resume their league campaign in Worcestershire Division One when Droitwich are the visitors to Nunnery Wood (3pm).

The third team are away to Division Two leaders Evesham and hope for at least a point to keep themselves in the promotion race as they lie in third place.
