PEGASUS Juniors clinched an impressive 4-1 victory when they entertained Almondsbury Town in the Cherry Red Records Hellenic League Premier Division at Rotherwas last night.

The Hereford club continued the good form they showed last weekend ag-ainst second placed Didcot Town and so completed the a league double over Almondsbury for the second successive year.

The team performance fully deserved all three points, in a game they dominated throughout except for two short periods, one in each half.

Within five minutes Mark Davis seized on a through ball from Leigh Harris and slotted the ball past Rob Clarke.

On 22 minutes Pegasus gained possession on the right, Harris controlled Danny Moon's early cross in the penalty area before he crashed the ball into the net for his second goal in consecutive games.

After a short period of pressure the visitors reduced the lead after a back pass held up in the muddy conditions and El-Morissy beat Matt Howard in goal.

But soon after the break Davis restored the two goal advantage and he grabbed his hat-trick in the final minute of the game when he latched onto a Harris pass.
