Mahal 2 Bewdley Town 1
Bewdley suffered their third league defeat of the season after failing to break down a well-organised Mahal defence in the final 20 minutes.
The hosts went ahead in the first half, though there was a suspicion of a foul on centre-back Andrew Ford before the Mahal striker ran clear to beat keeper Steve Jones.
Bewdley gave the ball away too often and did not threaten but began the second half brighter only for Mahal to score a superb second.
Andy Potter, making his debut after a transfer from Chaddesley Corbett, came on as sub.
Potter immediately crossed for Dave Harris to head Bewdley back into the game but they could make no further impression on the scoreline.
Fixture, Saturday: Bewdley v Feckenham (Smedley Crooke Cup).
