PANCAKES from St Andrew's School in Hampton have been raking in the pounds for Portage.
The school raised more than £1,000 this week for the national charity, which supports families that have children with special needs.
Headteacher Alex Wall said the school adopted the charity about four years ago. He added: "Over the last four years we have probably raised close to £5,000 for them and the pancake tossing is our major event each year."
The school devotes most of the day to pancakes with sponsored pancake tossing, pancake races and pancakes freshly-cooked by parents who come in to school to help.
