KIDDERMINSTER angler Colin Bailey landed 37lb of fish at Poole Hall Fisheries, his best specimen a 9.5lb mirror carp.

Bailey was fishing the Moorhen Pool using maggot bait.

There has been good fishing on all coarse waters at the fishery with other weights varying from 7lb up to 28lb.

Maggot and corn have been popular baits.

SHATTERFORD LAKES

Last week's top trout angler landed 11 to 2.25lb using a cats whisker on the Masters Lake and one angler caught 11 to 1.5lb with a buzzer on the Wyre Dell.

A Halesowen angler landed 10 to 2lb with a montana on Wyre Dell and Masters, while his son caught seven to 1.5lb using a viva on both lakes.

On the coarse scene, two mirror carp to 21lb 8oz and a catfish of 16lb 4oz were caught with squid and boilies on the Erics Lake.

An 18lb mirror was landed to mulberry boilies on the Stuarts Lake and two mirrors to 13lb 11oz fell to boilies on the Erics.

One angler had an estimated bag of 40lb, which comprised roach, perch, bream, and carp, caught with maggots and castors on the Stella.
