DR Taylor, in his bid to win support in the General Election stakes seems anxious to blame just about everyone for the downgrading of Kidderminster General Hospital.
We would remind him that the Conservative councillors of Wyre Forest District Council have always fully supported the campaign to save our hospital.
Further, the previous Conservative Government over 18 years invested £42 million in the new buildings and services we had until last October last.
Dr Taylor's sincerity is admirable but tunnelled. If he was successful in his bid we doubt whether any lone voice would alter the decisions of the Government, particularly if it wasn't another Labour one.
The district council Conservative Group endorse all that Mark Simpson, our prospective parliamentary candidate and shadow health secretary Dr Liam Fox have said - that we will provide a comprehensive review of health care in Worcestershire.
