I WAS pleased to find that red hearts were still readily available on Valentine's Day - after reading the comments of Councillor Frank Baillie (Shuttle, Feb 8) I feared that Health Concern may have cornered the market.
Surely Councillor Baillie is a little premature in considering rushing to the courts.
As the person who locally authorises the use of the Labour logo and rose in connection with elections, I do not believe there are any plans to change the registration with the Electoral Commission.
I do not think there are any rules, outside of strict electoral law, governing the more general use of a heart or any other universally recognised symbol.
