A Toyota MR2 stolen from a house in Mill Lane, Kidderminster, was abandoned by thieves in nearby Plimsoll Street.
The raiders forced a door to get into the house on Sunday to steal the car keys as well as cash, a mobile phone, a Sony Playstation and a video recorder worth £730.
