MAY I through your newspaper, appeal to the irresponsible dog owners of Moreton-in-Marsh who allow their dogs to consistently foul the public footpaths in the town.
One footpath from Fosseway Avenue to Old Town has recently been resurfaced, but within two hours dog excrement was already being left, ready for persons to tread into.
As a dog owner myself I am aware it is an offence to allow a dog to foul a public footpath, and therefore I carry a small plastic spade in carrier bags to pick up my dogs mess and deposit it in the bins provided, yes it isn't pleasant picking it up but surely this is better than a £1,000 fine and leaving it for a child to step into it.
