SAILING: Ray Drury took Trimpley Sailing Club's Saturday Snowflake Series in good sailing conditions with 9.75 points.

Jeff Waltier was second on 25 points and took the handicap section.

Malcolm Rogers and his wife Elaine took the first race on Saturday from Drury and Mike Skinner. Drury got his revenge in the second race.

Young Tom Rogers was the lone Laser sailor on Saturday.

The Laser Saturday Snowflake series was won by Frank Edwards with six points, all wins, with Mike Stout in second place on 15.5 points.

Stout came closer in the Handicap series losing out by 4.5 points.

On a brisk, gusty day, the final races in the Sunday Icicle Series saw Mark Tromans with crew John Dixon take the noon handicap race from Peter Moore and Jean Barrett.

In the second race, helms Jeff Halford and Simon Fletcher were closely matched for the series.

A win for Halford and crew Dawn Bradley over the Fletchers was followed by the latter taking the third race.

The Sunday Icicle Series was thus won by Halford and Bradley with 11 points to the Fletchers' 16.5 points. The Fletchers took the Icicle Handicap Series.
