DETECTIVE writer Colin Dexter, the man behind television's Inspector Morse, met his fans when he visited a Bromsgrove bookshop.
He was at Ottakar's, in High Street, signing copies of his books for star-struck residents.
Among the titles were special hardback editions of his latest work 'Remorseful Day' which has recently featured on television as the last Morse series.
Ottakar's floor manager Lyndsey Smith said: "Colin Dexter was here for an hour signing books and chatting to people.
"It went really well."
