AN inquisitive Bromsgrove youngster has a whole new world of opportunities opening up to her after receiving a new computer.
Ten-year-old Karis Lane, who has cerebral palsy and Turner's Syndrome, is currently being taught at home by her mum, Karen, following a dispute with Worcestershire County Council.
The computer means Karis will be able to install her own programmes and surf the net.
Telford-based British Polymer Training Association (BPTA) donated the equipment after hearing about Karis's plight from family friend Alan Court. He works as a consultant at the firm.
Karen said: "It is a real boost for Karis and will open up the world to her."
