EVESHAM is to be part of a new National Cycle Network route, with hopes high that it will bring in more tourists to the area.
Route 41 will pass between Bristol and Stratford, coming to Evesham from Beckford and Elmley Castle and then the main A44 through Hampton and along Waterside before heading out of town along Badsey Lane and leaving the county via Pebworth.
It will probably mean a new cycle lane on Waterside and also improvements to the refuge where the cycle route would cross the Evesham Bypass.
