Repairs to Studley Church Under Consideration - A hint that extensive repairs to the bells of Studley's ancient church would soon be necessary was given at the annual vestry and parochial meeting held at the Vicarage Hall on Thursday.
The bells, which are about 250 years old, have not been properly rung for many years, though they are still chimed.
The condition of the bell framework was mentioned by WCL Cullum, secretary of the parochial church council, in his annual report.
