I AM writing about your coverage of the inspectors' report on Westlands First School.
You failed to mention that the inspectors found that Westlands First School is very well managed by the headteacher and her committed and hard-working staff team, which provides good teaching enabling the children to make steady and sometimes good progress.
The school provides good provision for pupils with special educational needs and is indeed fully inclusive, welcoming all pupils and nurturing the individual talents of each individual. Standards reached are the right ones for most pupils and that pupils who were expected to achieve higher levels did indeed do so.
We are proud to have achieved an Ofsted report that justifies the dedication of every member of staff. Full copies of the report can be viewed in school.
