GIVEN the now known increase in council tax, and the RPI increase in pensions, I calculate that when I retire my state pension can be paid direct to those exponents of grand larceny at County Hall without the inconvenience of me having to have any contact with it.
I won't even have the price of a half fare bus ticket left!
