A CHARITY gourmet dinner was hosted by NEW College hospitality and catering staff and students at The Old Library Restaurant last week with guest chef Chris Hudson.
Mr Hudson is chairman of the Midland Association of Chef de Cuisine at Ettington Park Hotel, Stratford, and it was hoped the event would raise about £500 for the benevolent fund of the Midland Association of Chefs.
The fund, which has only recently been set up, provides financial support for those in the trade in times of need.
Mr Hudson led the kitchen team, which included Redditch and Bromsgrove students, to produce a nine-course meal.
