SUCCESSFUL fundraising means a Droitwich Spa surgery is now equipped with a lifesaving machine.
The Corbett Medical Practice, in Corbett Avenue, has proudly unveiled its new £2,350 electrocardiograph (ECG) machine.
The machine measures tiny electrical pluses in the heart and produces traces on paper for doctors to examine and diagnose if there are any heart problems.
Twelve months ago the surgery launched a campaign to collect cash for the machine.
With support from the British Heart Foundation, Droitwich Spa Rotary Club and Corbett Medical Practice staff, the money has soon piled up.
Practice manager Fran Westrop said: "We are delighted and thrilled with our new ECG machine.
"Our thanks goes out to everyone who has supported us."
