SMART new bus shelters could soon be springing up around the Spa.
Droitwich Spa Town Council is in talks with Adshel, a company which boasts many years of experience in supplying bus shelters.
If a deal is struck, the firm will replace a number of older style shelters with modern ones.
The scheme will be paid for with advertising revenue and Adshel would maintain each construction. The council's community and amenities committee was informed of the latest update on Monday night.
Committee chairman Cllr Glenise Noyes (Con, Droit.South) said: "Negotiations are continuing and councillors are all pleased with the information supplied so far."
