COMMUNITY groups in Droitwich Spa have been given the opportunity to make dreams become reality.
Organisations can apply for a community grant from Wychavon District Council.
Last year, £170,000 was given out across the district. In 2001, 30 per cent of all cash is being set aside for projects involving young people.
Wychavon projects officer Cherrie Mansfield said: "The council is inviting applications for innovative and well thought out projects."
Wychavon's grant service has been reviewed to make the application process easier. Changes include scrapping the three-year rule, which prevented previous grant recipients from applying for further money.
Grants can only be given to non-profit making groups, which are non-political.
Application packs are available from Wychavon's One Stop Shop, in Droitwich High Street.
The first deadline for applications is the end of April.
