A REDDITCH town centre pub currently undergoing a £1 million refurbishment will be open to the public in May, it has been announced.
The Works, in Market Place, was closed down last month and its ownership has been transferred from Banks's Brewery to national company Surrey Free Inns.
The pub, to be called The Litten Tree, will be one of about 40 in the country.
A spokesman for SFI said: "It will be quite a traditional style venue with a function room. It will attract older people but there will be a good mix of all ages."
